Yoga & Teachings
Connecting through movement & mindfulness
About my practice…
Born and raised in Thailand in a Buddhist household, mindfulness and spiritual practice were woven into the fabric of my being. These cultural and spiritual roots provided a natural foundation that would later blossom into my yoga practice.
While studying to get my master’s degree in Art Education, my upbringing led me to write my thesis on integrating meditation into the art classroom. This academic exploration became a catalyst for deepening my self-inquiry, bridging my cultural heritage with my educational pursuits. My meditation practice significantly deepened through immersive experiences with Vipassana, one of Buddhism’s most ancient meditation techniques. It’s an ongoing deepening discovery. So far, I have completed four 10-day meditation retreats across Asia- in Burma, Thailand, Nepal, and India—each sitting offering unique insights into deeper levels of awareness. These transformative experiences of sustained silence and introspection have influenced both my personal practice and teaching approach.
Alongside my yoga practice, I’ve explored various forms of expressive movement, studying Nia dance for several years and immersing myself in the liberating practices of Ecstatic dance, and currently African dance. These diverse movement modalities have expanded my understanding of embodied awareness and bring a unique fluidity and expressiveness to my yoga teaching. Through these diverse experiences and years of devoted practice, I’ve developed a unique perspective that harmonizes traditional Eastern wisdom with contemporary movement approaches.
My background allows me to draw from authentic Buddhist meditation techniques while making them accessible and relevant in the context of modern yoga and movement practices.
